How did you become part of the psp tube community?
It all started when the people from DreamscapeImaging got in touch with me, they explained me everything about it, they were really interested in having me as part of the group, I loved the idea and seemed to me the artists already working with them at the time or forming the group in general were incredible and very talented, how to say no?

What does your artwork mean to you?
I would say it is very similar to the feelings when you are in love, the regular symptoms, always thinking only in that person, only paying attention to anything that has to do with that person or a least is what you are interested the most, you stay awake all night talking or sharing things with that person, and you even stop eating and in the end that person ends up being your reason to wake up every morning, my work is exactly like that, it causes the very same symptoms in me and sometimes I feel estrange calling work something you enjoy this much, but I guess in the end it is.

What inspire you in creating your artwork?
Wow, they are an infinite number of thing, is something like counting stars, but to mention some of them I could say I’m inspired by things like the opera, the movies, specially if there is tragedy involved, like Giuseppe Verdi’s La Traviata or Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, the magic and nature are also elements very much inspiring to me, just like ancient times like the Renaissance and Victorian, and no doubt about romantic and dark story books like Ann Rice’s or Bram Stoker’s.

How long have you been selling psp tubes?
About two years now, I guess, I’m not really counting, hahaha.

How do you create your artwork? Is it by hand or digitally? What tools do you use in doing the artwork?
All my artwork is traditional art, I rarely do something in digital art, I only do it by commission because the person wants it that way specifically. The tools I use are mostly regular color pencils, ball point pens and watercolors and I love working in big frame formats.

Aside from psp tubes what else do you create with your artwork?
Besides using my artwork for sale as psp tubes I also do merchandise like stickers or button pins, etc. for events, now I’m also doing some jewelry like ear rings, necklaces and cameos.

As you have developed your style and artwork, which artists have influenced you?
At first when I was younger I was strongly influenced by asian comics, anime and manga in general, But at the age of 14 I began to know more about other kind of artists leading me to a new and definitive path and making my artwork to have a great transformation, for that I have to thank some great artists like John William Waterhouse, Luis Royo, Victoria Frances, Alphonse Mucha among others.

Does the psp community help artists become more well known with getting their names and artwork more visible?
Yes definitively, it is also up to you as an artist of course, if you are always concerned about making new designs and uploading them as psp tubes, and if the website where you sale them has a great advertising team you should have no problem becoming more well known.

What do you enjoy the most about being part of the psp community?
I have particularly enjoyed so much knowing artists who are also working at DreamScapeImaging, they are a very close team and wonderful people, and I think I would have never met them if I wasn’t selling psp tubes (obviously).

What are some of your favorite art pieces which you have done and why?
Right now I have no favorite pieces, all of them have something I love very much and their very own stories make each of them special.

Do you prefer tags with your art tubes animated or non-animated? Or are both great to you?
I think I like them all, it depends greatly in the design of the tag of course, for instance if the tag has a design according to the theme of my illustration, it would be fine, I have liked all the tags that have been made so far using my illustrations, including some animated ones.

Do you do commissions for taggers? How about ideas for tubes which taggers may have?
To the date I have done no commissions for taggers, but maybe in the future.

Is there anything which you don't allow to be done with your artwork? For example mirroring, animation, etc.
No, so far I haven’t had any problem about that, and as long as they don’t distort the illustration and don’t change too many elements diverting it from its original theme I guess I would have no problem about it.

Kayla Ascencio

1) How did you become a part of the psp tube community? I was able to become part of the psp tube community by having an account on Deviantart. One of the founders of Dreamscape Imaging viewed my paintings on the art website and offered for me to become a part of their community made up of a wide variety of talented artists.

2) What does your artwork mean to you? My artwork means being able to share my way of thinking and concepts with everyone else. I always like to tell a story with my paintings. With a written story no matter how descriptive your words are every reader will interpret them differently and form their own visuals based off the text. With a painting, the viewer can come up with their own interpretations of what they see, but everyone has the same image to draw conclusions from. What I am seeing in my mind is what everyone else sees just their feelings and ideas toward it vary.

3) What inspires you in creating your artwork? I get my inspiration to create artwork from a little bit of everything. My main inspirations are nature and other artists‘ work, whether it be concepts I see in artwork or the way it is technically done. Anytime I see artwork I consider superior to my level, rather then let it discourage me it makes me want to paint even more to reach that level. I’m also inspired by movies, television, books ,and music. Anything Victorian style or old fashioned I find influential as well.

4) How long have you been selling psp tubes? I have been offering my artwork as psp tubes for approximately a year now.

5) How do you create your artwork? Is it by hand
or digitally? What tools do you use in doing the artwork? I create the majority of my artwork with acrylic paint on illustration board. My work is always traditionally done. Occasionally, I will do mixed medium pieces of airbrushed watercolor and color pencil on illustration board. My favorite type of paints are the Liquitex Basics acrylic tubes and my favorite brushes are the cheap bristol ones. They are perfect for blending. I also use larger brushes to fill in big areas and liner brushes for detailing. When I airbrush, I always use the watercolors in tubes and a Paashe double action airbrush. The color pencils I work with are Prismacolors.

6)Aside from psp tubes, what else do you create
with your artwork? I offer prints of my artwork for sale on my website kaylafantasyart.com . Other then prints, I am working on adding a variety of products to my Zazzle store Ascenciok . I also offer pet portraits painted on glass Christmas ornaments on my website.

7) As you have developed your style and artwork, which artists
have influenced you? My teacher while I attended school was a huge influence on my development of style and ultimately deciding what subjects I prefer to paint most. He always pushed me to go further and really think everything through. He also assisted me in becoming more creative with my work. I find pretty much any fantasy or gothic artwork inspiring. It was artists like Victoria Frances and Amy Brown that initially made me consider a career as an artist when I was in high school. I have since discovered quite a few similar genre type artists I look up to. I also have made friends with several incredibly talented artists on various art communities that are influential to my style.

8) Does the psp community help artists become more well known
with getting their names and artwork more visible? I believe the psp community is an excellent way to promote any artist. With Dreamscape Imaging it is a requirement that the creator of the tube must credit the artist along with include the artist’s website. Any type of promotion is a
positive thing. Even if the only one person discovers your artwork from the tube, that’s one person that did not know about your artwork before.

9) What do you enjoy the most about being part of the psp community? My favorite part is how friendly everyone seems. I’m part of the Dreamscape Imaging Facebook page as well as their group. I have had nothing but good experiences with both. I also love being able to see
the tags people make using my work. It’s very flattering to me that anyone would find my work inspiring enough that they would want to create their own artwork from it.

10) What are some of your favorite art pieces which you have done and why? There are certain paintings of mine that are favorites for how they are technically done and there are others I consider favorites for the concepts. It’s very difficult to choose only a small selection. If I had
to choose some my favorites are Facade, Made of Stone, The Witching Hour, The Guardian, and Misery.

11) Do you prefer tags with your art tubes animated or non animated? Or are both great to you? I take anything anyone would like to create
with my artwork as a compliment.. I have not seen any animated tags of my artwork yet, but would love to see some in the future.

12) Do you do commissions for taggers? How about ideas for tubes which taggers may have? I have not had anyone inquire if I would do this
type of commission before. If the person has a good enough idea, I would definitely take it into consideration.

13) Is there anything which you don't allow to be done with your artwork? For example mirroring, animation, etc. I’m not very strict on what people can and can not do with my artwork. As long as nobody is claiming it as their own artwork or selling prints of my work I really do not care what is done with it. Anytime a tagger wants to use my work I take it as a huge compliment. If someone has a creative idea, I wouldn’t want to prevent them from realizing it over my being picky.

14) Would you like to receive tags which our readers may do featuring your artwork? We often love to send the artists tags by our members. I would love to see any tags done featuring my work. As I said several times, I take the desire to use my artwork as a huge compliment. Seeing any of these tags would definitely help brighten my day a little.

Janna Prosvirina

Hello Readers! Today we are talking with the wonderful artist Janna Prosvirina. Janna has become known for her beautiful fantasy artwork. 1) How did you become a part of the psp tube community? A friend of mine recommended my work to DSI owners and they asked me to join.

 2) What does your artwork mean to you? I have been painting and drawing as long as I can remember; it is a part of my life and a sort of therapy =) Painting is my way of to expressing feelings and impressions I get, so every piece has a special meaning to me.

 3) What inspires you in creating your artwork? Nature, music, people, seasons, fairy tales, legends, dreams…

 4) How long have you been selling psp tubes? Two years.

 5) How do you create your artwork? Is it by hand or digitally? What tools do you use in doing the artwork?Traditionally, my favorite medium is watercolour but I also use coloured pencil, acrylics and gouache.

 6)Aside from psp tubes, what else do you create with your artwork?I have also had my artwork used for rubber stamps, fabric blocks, calendars, cards and iron on transfers. Fine art prints will be available through my shop at Etsy soon.

 7) As you have developed your style and artwork, which artists have influenced you?Ivan Bilibin, Arthur Rackham, Sulamith Wülfing, some of Pre-Raphaelits, Brian Froud and many talented artists I met at DeviantArt who always inspire and move me to create more.

 8) Does the psp community help artists become more well knownwith getting their names and artwork more visible?I hope so but I am not sure about it, because there are so many PSP artists nowadays and a lot of beautiful artworks.

 9) What do you enjoy the most about being part of the psp community?I enjoy seeing beautiful things people create using tubes.

 10) What are some of your favorite art pieces which you have done and why?A the moment it is “Dragonfly - for the first time in my life it turned out the way I imagined it:) There are many details which I like, such as dragonfly wings, forest, spider webs and of course because I enjoy painting autumn, my favorite season.
“Meet me at dusk” because it was a change from my usual theme and a challenge to paint more realistic, I am quite pleased how it turned out.
“Wisteria” – just because after long cold winter I am longing to see more flowers and blossoms XD

 11) Do you prefer tags with your art tubes animated or non animated? Or are both great to you?Both are great=)

 12) Do you do commissions for taggers? How about ideas for tubes which taggers may have? In always depend on the subject of a commission, I take commissions only if I like suggested theme, there is a long list of what I don’t do.I have a thick pile of sketches on my desk which tend to grow. Sometimes I just don’t know which one I should paint next, so I think it would be nice to know what people expect to see more from me. Anyone who would like to share ideas\suggestions is very welcome!

 13) Is there anything which you don't allow to be done with your artwork? For example mirroring, animation, etc.I don’t really have any restrictions, everything if fine as long as people follow copyright rules.

Rossana Castellino

1) How did you become a part of the psp tube community? I didn't knew  very well the psp community, thes I was invited by Zindy on "Dreamscape Imaging" to sell my art as tubes! So I was introduced in this world and I knew so many great psp artists!

2) What does your artwork mean to you? Drawing is my passion, my work and my life...My artwork represents what I am, my feelings and especially my attempt to give life to my immagination!!!

3) What inspires you in creating your artwork?There are many things that inspire me; first of all the music, that always accompanies me when I draw...then movies and animation, romantic and fantasy literature, ancient legends of north, fairytales and underground cultures!

4) How long have you been selling psp tubes? Approximately, I sell my artwork for a year as tubes on Dreamscape

5) How do you create your artwork? Is it by hand
or digitally? What tools do you use in doing the artwork? I use both traditional and digital techniques, but I am especially a traditional artist! I use colored pencils and pastels in most of my illustrations, but I use also markers and sometimes acrylics and watercolors!

6)Aside from psp tubes, what else do you create
with your artwork? My art is available on Queen Kat Design as fabric block, iron transfers and rubber Stamps (www.katstamps.com) I hope also to sell soon other products...and publish many books!!! ^^

7) As you have developed your style and artwork, which artists
have influenced you? The list is very long: first of all I was definitely influenced the great Luis Royo but also by Victoria Franc�s, Dorian Cleavenger, Gerald Brom, Boris Vallejo, Ciruelo Cabral, Arantza Sestayo, Viona, H.R. Giger, Armando Huerta, Hayao Miyazaki, Tim Burton...and many many more!

8) Does the psp community help artists become more well known
with getting their names and artwork more visible? Surely, the psp community has helped to make a little more known my work! It's a great opportunity for artists!

9) What do you enjoy the most about being part of the psp community? I really love to see the art of other artist and see new things inspired by my art!

10) What are some of your favorite art pieces which you have done and why? It's very difficult for me to answer this question because I've never totally satisfied with my drawings, I always try to improve...However, I think one of the most important works for me is "Midnight Masquerade" for two reasons: it was my first self-portrait and I discovered the wonders of grey paper... then I often use the grey paper in my work!

11) Do you prefer tags with your art tubes animated or non animated? Or are both great to you?I like them both, every works I've seen done with my art tubes was beautiful.

Michele Ann

1) How did you become a part of the psp tube community?

Zindy from ‘Dreamscape Imaging’ approached me, asking whether I would be interested in my art being available for Tubes etc and I immediately thought it would be a great project to be involved in.

2) What does your artwork mean to you?

Creating a piece of artwork is such a powerful thing, each piece is a representation of how I feel at that particular moment in time, my artwork is really a collection of my feelings, it’s how I choose to express them.

3) What inspires you in creating your artwork?

 For me inspiration can come from many sources, music, films, people. Something I see or hear can trigger an emotion and that in turn inspires me to create.

4) How long have you been selling psp tubes?

 I have been selling tubes for about a year with ‘Dreamscape’.

5) How do you create your artwork? Is it by hand
or digitally? What tools do you use in doing the artwork?

 I’m not a digital artist and I don’t consider myself a painter, I draw, predominantly using Faber Castel pencils. I do occasionally use paint for highlighting or pastels to create a smoky background but I’m most comfortable using just pencils.

6) Aside from psp tubes, what else do you create
with your artwork?
 Well, my website www.micheleannart.com is about to be launched and at the moment will just be selling prints but hopefully will have many other products soon. I have also done two book covers for author Ian O’Neill http://www.ianoneill.co.uk/, and have been working on projects for Cecile Guillot, http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Where-Witches-Rise/158908817527390.

7) As you have developed your style and artwork, which artists
have influenced you?

 There have been many artists who have influenced me over the years, my earliest being Boris Vallejo his work just blows me away. Others include, John Waterhouse, Gustav Klimt, Luis Royo, Felix Mas, Jia Lu and of course the wonderful Victoria Frances.

8)  Does the psp community help artists become more well known
with getting their names and artwork more visible?

 I think the psp community does a great job in getting little known artists work out there, getting a wider audience is always hard but being involved with psp’ers is a fantastic opportunity that any artist should be grateful for.

9) What do you enjoy the most about being part of the psp community?

 I have been in touch with some fantastic psp people and seeing their creations. always amazes me! What they can do with a piece of artwork is so clever.

10) What are some of your favorite art pieces which you have done and why?

 That’s a difficult question because each piece means something personal to me. I would have to say ‘Pain’ is rather special, firstly it’s my son who modelled for that one and he is obviously in pain, the skull represents emotional pain rather than physical, so no matter how many plasters or bandages you use the pain remains. Also ‘Bitten’ for me is important because it was my first attempt at Gothic/fantasy and was published by GB Posters.

11) Do you prefer tags with your art tubes animated or non animated? Or are both great to you?

 Any tags with my art tubes are great I have no preference.

12) Do you do commissions for taggers? How about ideas for tubes which taggers may have?

I find it hard to do commission’s full stop, my work is very personal and I have difficulty getting enthusiastic about other people suggesting ideas for me. It has to come from the heart to express something only I’m feeling at that time otherwise its not self expression.

13) Is there anything which you don't allow to be done with your artwork? For example mirroring, animation, etc.

 I’m open to anything with my art, if someone has been inspired to create something from a piece that I’ve done I think that’s fantastic.

Rebecca Sinz

1) How did you become a part of the psp tube community?

I started to get emails not too long after I began posting my art online requesting to use my art for psp tubes and tags. I didn't know what it was at first, but I thought it sounded like fun once I learned.

2) What does your artwork mean to you?

My art is everything to me! Once I really found my direction with my art, I haven't been able to stop. And I love that I've been able to create a small business doing what I love most! It is so rewarding to know that my illustrations can bring joy to others and that they like them enough to even spend some of their money on.

3) What inspires you in creating your artwork?

I can be inspired by just about anything. You just never know where an idea is going to come from. Things in nature inspire me, such as the way the clouds look sometimes, or a foggy morning. I'm sometimes inspired by music, books, scenes in a movie and other art.

4) How long have you been selling psp tubes?

I've been selling psp tubes for 5 or 6 years, since I was first approached by a licensing company.

5) How do you create your artwork? Is it by hand 

or digitally? What tools do you use in doing the artwork?

All of my work is done by traditional methods. I actually began with digital coloring in 2003, but soon discovered watercolors and never went back to digital. I never quite got the hang of it. But watercolors, along with colored pencil and sometimes acrylics seemed to really suit my style.

6) Aside from psp tubes, what else do you create

with your artwork?

My artwork is available as prints of various sizes, bookmarks, keychains, jewelry (such as rings and pendants), cross stitch patterns, fabric patches, and many other products available through my Zazzle shop.

7) As you have developed your style and artwork, which artists

have influenced you?

At first, I was influence by many fairy artists such as Brian Froud and Amy Brown and many Victorian and Pre-Raphaelite artists such as Waterhouse. As I began to develop my own style I began to really love the work of Jasmine Becket-Griffith, Victoria Frances, Kinuko Craft and Luis Royo. But that is really only naming a few. There are so many artists, both new and old, that I love 

8) Does the psp community help artists become more well known

with getting their names and artwork more visible?

Of course! Anything that brings attention to our work to those who may have never seen it before can help bring us more fans and potential customers. I've seen it myself personally and am always grateful for the extra exposure!

9) What do you enjoy the most about being part of the psp community?

I like to see what others create using my art. It is nice to know that others are getting enjoyment from my art and it is inspiring them to be creative with it too!

Zindy S.D. Nielsen

1) How did you become a part of the psp tube community?

It started long time ago when I would receive mails about permissions to use my drawings for tags, I think it might have been back in 2005. Back then I wasn't fully aware of what tags and tubes were but the creations I were sent looked very pretty and sparkly. I loved seeing your creations and I still enjoy it today. I love how my work can inspire to special words and elements, I see such creativety in the tags.

2) What does your artwork mean to you?

Artwork mean everything to me in the sense that it is such a big part of my life. It's what I have been doing for the past 10 years. It's what gets me through hard times, it's like theraphy and it's what makes me feel free and allows me to dream. I found meaning with my life the day I found my passion for drawing.

3) What inspires you in creating your artwork?

I find my biggerst inspiration in my feelings, things I have experienced in life; my dreams, my fears, love. I also find a lot of inspiration in nature and sometimes just a word can sparkle a new idea. I get a lot of my ideas at nighttime, there is something magical about the night.

4) How long have you been selling psp tubes?
I started selling my tubes in August 2007, when I signed with MyPSPTubes. In June 2008 I left the company to start selling tubes on my own and I am very happy for that decision today. I have my wonderful tuber Lisa Ansell who I couldn't do without. She's an amazing tuber as well as friend and she helped me understand the world of tagging.

5. How do you create your artwork? Is it by hand
or digitally? What tools do you use in doing the artwork?
I'm a traditional artist all the way through. I love working with my pencils, whether it be charcoal, pastels, markers or colour pencils. I primarily work with charcoal these days, which is my all time favourite medium, it's just magical and always a challenge. I love the process of drawing up the lines of a piece and slowly seeing it come to life, it's a special feeling. Sometimes it's like a good book, you don't want it to end...

6)Aside from psp tubes, what else do you create
with your artwork?
I create a lot of things with my drawings; prints, bookmarks, postcards, clocks, keyrings, magnets and calendars. I create most of the products myself, I really like to create unique products such as my keyrings with the personalized beads on. I hope to expand into more products in the future.

7) As you have developed your style and artwork, which artists
have influenced you?

I generally like artwork that speaks to me, make me feel something and that's what I try to convey in my own work. I love the work of Alphonse Mucha, I think his simplicity in shading and incredible beautiful details have a uniqueness I've never seen before. To me it's very important to have your own style and draw what you feel inside, what means something to you.

8) Does the psp community help artists become more well known
with getting their names and artwork more visible?

I definitely think you do a lot for the artists, with your support.I truly think it's great to become part of the psp community cause you are very kind and appreciative and that's something any artist benefits from because it motivates you and make you feel like you are good at what you do. Some artists don't get a lot of support in real life from their family and friends and to experience that kind of support can make a big difference. I personally never experienced this much support since I posted my work online (in 2001) and later became part of the tagging world and for that I am very grateful.

9) What do you enjoy the most about being part of the psp community?

What I love the most is the amazing support I have received over the years from you. It's a great feeling to know someone appreciate your work enough to want to buy and use it for personal tags. You have always been very kind  and supportive to me from the beginning and it has helped me get closer to my dreams and believe in myself more. For that I want to thank you all, you are amazing!

Freya Langford - Sidebottom

Tonight we are talking with the artist Freya Langford -Sidebottom. She is known for her unique

1) How did you become a part of the psp tube community?
I joined a couple of years ago - Zindy approached me on DeviantArt. I had already had MANY offers from lots of other companies about making my work into tubes, but I was always dubious about it and said thanks, but no thanks. When Zindy approached me though I had a lot of respect for her as an artist and she had some great artists that I was personally a fan of with her company. So I decided to accept her offer with Dreamscape Imaging. I now make my PSP tube home with Artistically Inclined Licensing.


2) What does your artwork mean to you?
Each piece is one of my babies! Some of them are trouble children that took a lot of work and grief, some were perfect kids that practically raised themselves. Some of them are older now but still just as loved. I like being able to look back over my body of work and see definite improvements - that's always a happy feeling for an artist!


3) What inspires you in creating your artwork?
Lots of things, movie characters, music sometimes, suggestions from others that I may never have thought of. Mostly though it's sexy girls and boys that prove to be my muses!



4) How long have you been selling psp tubes?
Must be about 3 years now I think. It's something I am sure I will be sticking with for quite some years to come though!


5) How do you create your artwork? Is it by hand or digitally? What tools do you use in doing the artwork?
These days I just create it all digitally straight in Photoshop with my trusty Wacom tablet. Have been getting back into the traditional pencil art lately though - there is somehting different about the actual hands-on approach that I miss with digital work.

6) Aside from psp tubes, what else do you create with your artwork?
I am also a qualified graphic Designer, so I create logos and posters and things like that. I also do a lot of RPG character commissions outside of the tube world.


7) As you have developed your style and artwork, which artists have influenced you?
Haha, there's too many to list! DEFINITELY the big names like Boris & Julie, Luis Royo.  Some really amazing digital artists like Greg Horn. Also I am a big fan of James Adams too, his sexy pencil girls just blow my mind!


8) Does the psp community help artists become more well known with getting their names and artwork more visible?
Yes, I defintiely think so! I have made heaps of freinds and fans from it, my work is reaching a wider (and quite dedicated) group,  plus I am meeting lots of other amazing artists along the way.


9) What do you enjoy the most about being part of the psp community?
Definitely interacting with the people who buy my work - but the best part is actually SEEING the tags they make with my artwork!
I keep every tag that I find created with my art so I can always look back on them and admire them. I am a SUCKER for the animated ones especially!

Gary Rudisill

 Tonight we are visited by Gary Rudisill. . I thought it would be great to get to know him. Gary is currently selling his tubes at Mystical Scraps.You can visit his website to see more examples of his art. Thank you so much for talking with us Gary.

1) How did you become a part of the psp tube community?

I became part of the Psp Tube Community through a friend on Deviantart, Zindy Nielsen. Her and Lisa Ansell, were just starting Dreamscape Imaging and I
was one of the first artists asked to join. At the time, I personally didn't have a clue what a "Tube" was. Later a longtime friend of mine from Deviantart,
Freya joined the DSI team with me. I only stayed for about a year and left due
to personal situations with my father passing away. It was a great experience being with DSI, I met some good friends there. Then when Jo started PTE, I was asked
to come on with them. I really have to say, it was not my intent to get back into PSP Tube art because I really just wanted to crawl into myself and just not do
it any longer. But Jo asked me to call her and we talked and honestly, Jolene Burke really talked me through things. Jo's a good egg. Jo and I would talk on the phone from time
to time. She was good support. I also met alot of good people at PTE.

2) What does your artwork mean to you?

My art means the world to me. I do alot of different art though. My day job, is doing artwork for imprinted apparel. Where I use Adobe Illustrator/Corel Draw/ Photoshopto create anything from very simple to very detailed and complex designs, used in screen printing tshirts and apparel. For my company and many around the world. But my true love, is drawing. Pencil drawing. I am a huge fan of black and white, if it be photography, tattoos or drawings. Love dark shadows and bright highlights, and heavy contrast. I am recently getting into charcoal drawings more.
I also enjoy, pin up work. That's where the tubes come in. I love the toony style, with hard thick edges and bright and pastel colors. In the past I have
experimented with a few styles from toony to realist. but the toony style is what stuck. I love doing different layer options for the taggers, because what makes
the tube work so rewarding, is see what they do with it. I have seen some fantastic and creative things done with my pin ups. With the tube art, I get the best of
both worlds, it starts with a drawing and sometimes, I do a complex rendering of it to get the shading down and have a reference before I go to the computer. I get
to draw and then color it in the computer. So I get to do both.

3) What inspires you in creating your artwork?

Inspiration comes from the strangest places sometimes. Sometimes, music sparks it, sometimes a movie, sometimes a dream and sometimes its a suggestion from a
friend or fan. But once decided what project Im working on, I then pick music to help keep the inspiration alive. Sometimes that music is hard and rough, sometimes its
soft and sappy. A good example, when I was doing a child portrait for the local Children's Advocacy Center, I listened to Martina McBride's Concrete angel, over and over
and over then I would listen to Staind, and believe it or not some Richard Marx. Anythng that would relate to abuse, the sadder the better. There were times I was so
emotionally down with that project I would have to take a break for a few weeks to get myself back to normal. It seems crazy, but I believe in the process of creating
something that alot of yourself and your feeling goes into it and upon completion is felt and reflected. So depending on the mood I want other to feel when seeing what
I create is the mood of the music I choose. Sometimes, I even name the piece the same title or use some part of the lyrics of the song.


4) How long did you sell psp tubes? I know you are not currently
selling tubes but you have sold at a few companies before.

I guess its been about 2 years. This will be my second Christmas as a tube artist. I left DSI and PTE for reasons involving my personal life. THey were both
great companies. I started my own to help support some of my fellow artist friends, and it just didnt work out being a store owner. You have to depend on other
people due to the knowledge of the store software, the staff, the ct people, the conflicting personalities, yadda yadda yadda. In short, you really don't know
the people you are having work your store and representing you.  In short, I don't regret it, because it was a huge learning experience. But through that, I got
to know some good people again, some that were on my friends list for a while but didn't know that well. People like Jessica Reed and Myrenthia Brown, who now own
Artistically Inclined Licensing. The company I encouraged all the artists signed with me to consider when I was getting ready to close my store. When it comes
to business, I tend to think with my heart more than my head, which isnt being very business savvy. But I wanted all the people that stuck by me and supported
me through everything, when they could have just jumped ship, to have a place to be when I closed. I didn't want to just close the doors and leave them out in the
cold.

5) How do you create your artwork? Is it by hand
or digitally? What tools do you use in doing the artwork?

When creating artwork, first I break out my trusty Etch-A-Sketch. Just kidding. First I sketch, sometimes for days until I get something that feels right.
A lot of the time, the final isn't exactly what I intended and sometimes its goes in a complete different direction. Then I create a tight drawing on layout bond
using graphite pencils. Sometimes I post it up on my personal facebook page and facebook fan page, to get reaction from people. Then I take it to the computer to
add the color, shading and optional layers. The tools I use, pencils, paper, ERASER, and Photoshop.

6)Aside from psp tubes, what else do you create
with your artwork?

Like I said before, I have such a broad field of artwork. I create apparel designs for my printing company, I have some MMA clients I create all over print designs
for, I have larger companies that I do design work for along with color seperating. I was very honored last fall to be asked to create a 911 ten year annivesary
design for one of the larger print companies. I do graphite portraits. I do charcoal landscape and some gothy stuff too. I really tend to have a dark side to me
but try to keep it toned down. I am currently working with an oil paint on paper portrait dry brush stle, made popular by an awesome artist by the name of Igor Kazarin.


7) As you have developed your style and artwork, which artists
have influenced you?

The artist that influence me is Zindy Nielsen especially her portrait works. I actually own quite a few Zindy prints that hang on my wall along with an original
ACEO colored pencil drawing. I also own an original Robin McQuay as well. Robin is also an artist I admire. Her style is deep with alot of emotion. Pin up wise I
would have to say my major influences are Armando Huerta and Nicole Brune. Love their traditoinal style and hope that one day, I can break from digital and go totally traditional.

8) Does the psp community help artists become more well known
with getting their names and artwork more visible?

I would say YES the psp community does indeed help artists gain recognition and become more well known. I remember when I was first signed with DSI, I think
it was CopyRight Corner on facebook made the announcement that they signed me and all of a sudden BAM a ton of friends requests come pouring in. I was like who
the hell are all these people? LOL but I made some awesome friends with most of them.

9) What do you enjoy the most about being part of the psp community?

What I love most about being part of the PSP Community is the interaction with Fan/Friends. and you will notice I always say Fans/friends never just fans.
My fans are my friends. I love em all

1) How did you become a part of the psp tube community?

I do Tags since a long Time (without knowing that they called Tags *lol*) and does some activities like such Mahjongg and Puzzles and so and there someone wrote me and invites me to a Forum.
There I saw the first Time what Tags are and Tuts. And so everything goes on. Visited there Lessons, joined a Copysafe Yahoogroup and there I saw the firsts Scrapkits.
So it´s hard to say how long really.

2) What does your artwork mean to you?

It means a lot to me. I can get my Feelings in what I do. It´s a Way to get my Mind free, to come down from Sress...

3) What inspires you in creating your artwork?

Oh a lot, my own Feelings, my Kids, Tubes (for Scrapkits) and the Taggers out there...

4) How long have you been selling psp tubes?

I started selling Scrapkits and CU Tubes in April / May 2009 and signed with a License Comp in October 2009

5) How do you create your artwork? Is it by hand
or digitally? What tools do you use in doing the artwork?

Ok, I can´t draw so good as others, also I do all Digitally. I use PSP, PS, Poser.

Layouts which I can rint out.

Oh....a lot....

I love all...the Friendships which I got....making People Happy...beeing creative...and sometimes to Challenge myself when I have a Request.
